Why Should I Seek Therapy?

An individual may want to consider therapy if something in your life causes you significant distress or interferes with your ability to function in life.  Such life situations which can be effected are personal, family or work life.  For some individuals, this can present itself in several forms such engaging in avoidance strategies, becoming excessively over emotional, engaging in risky behaviors or feeling as though you lack the ability to cope with life.  When  you begin your journey with a therapist, the focus may be to learn more about yourself, help identify goals, and learn how to manage by developing coping skills.  If you are ready to begin your journey, please reach out to me to schedule your initial session.
